Youth

Our goal is to guide and instruct teens (grades 6-12) as they consider what it really means to be a follower of Jesus and to give teens the opportunity to live out the Great Commission. There are many opportunities for Christian fellowship and spiritual growth in our youth group throughout the entire year:

  • Youth Sunday School   – “Summer Survival Guide,” an 8-week Bible study on THINGS teens can do to make more space in their daily lives for adequate time with Jesus.
    • T– Time with God daily
    • H– Honest friendships
    • I– Intentionally connect with the church
    • N– Notice and serve others
    • G– Give to God
    • S– Share God stories
  • Summer Bible Study, including a meal and games (4:30 to 8:30)
  • High school girls group (meets twice a month)
  • Grow and Serve, a three-day camp that works on local missions projects in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County each summer
  • Passport Camp each summer
  • Passion Conference in Atlanta (yearly over New Years)
  • Retreats to Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center (twice a year)
  • Various local missions activities, including serving Saturday Community Lunch
