HBC has a traditional worship service at 9 am and a contemporary worship service at 11:10 am.

Our traditional worship service begins at 9 am and features hymns with a choir, piano, organ and other symphonic instruments.

Our contemporar yworship service at 11:10 am features praise songs led by a band in the style of such artists as Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Gungor, David Crowder, Hillsong United, Jesus Culture and others.  The style of this worship gathering is casual, so come as you are..

Both services have teaching that reflects solid, Biblical truth that can be applied to your life today. Come as you are and gather with us to worship our Almighty God!

Remembrance Service ... Sunday, Nov. 1

Our Traditional Worship Service on Sunday, Nov. 1 will provide a space for us to remember and express gratitude to God for the saints in our lives and for the loved ones we have lost.  During the remembrance portion of our worship, we will recognize church members who have died in the last year and pray over the losses we have personally experienced.  Also, each person is invited to bring framed photographs of loved ones whom you have lost, and to place these pictures in one of the sanctuary windows during the service.  This is one way we can visualize "the great cloud of witnesses" spoken of in Hebrews 12:1.

Christmas at HBC

Christmas Bible School will be held the morning of December 5 from 9 am to 12 noon.  All children, age 3 (as of July 1, 2012) through grade 5 are invited to attend a morning of fun activities foucused on the real meaning of Christmas ... God's Gift of Love ... Jesus!  Children will be celebrating the birth of Jesus with Christmas stories, crafts, games, music, snacks and video.  You can register your child(ren) by clicking here.

The adult Christmas choir will present our cantata I Hear the Prophet Callin' by Pepper Choplin on Sunday, Dec. 6 during both the 9 am and 11:10 am worship services.  Our choir is accompanied by an orchestra and is truly an awesome worship experience!  We invite you to join us.  During the cantata, members will be asked to bring forward donations for Our Community Place ... a local organization that assists famlies in need within the community.  Suggested items include razors, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, Advil, Tylenol, Benadryl ... just to name a few things.

Our Annual Christmas Dinner will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 6 pm.  This is a great time of fellowship and wonderful food.  Dinner will be catered by Mrs. Rowe's and the menu includes roast turkey with gravy, dressing, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, green beans, rolls and pumpkin bars.  Tickets must be purchased in advance and go on sale Sunday, Nov. 22.  Immediately following dinner, our AWANA children will be presenting their Christmas musical ... an event you won't want to miss!

We invite you to attend our Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 7 pm on Thursday, Dec. 24.  This is a special service of music, drama and sharing in communion.

On Sunday, Dec. 27 there will only be one service at 11:10 am and no Sunday School.  It will be our annual Student Day at Christmas where our high school and college students will be actively particpating in the worship service.  David Holland, a former HBC youth director, will be preaching that morning.
