The Harrisonburg Baptist youth group has a lot of exciting things to offer teens throughout the year!  Our purpose is to inspire students to become passionately devoted followers of Jesus Christ…one life at a time.  Frontline exists as a ministry to equip young people who are passionate about Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to impact their world for the glory of God. 

Join us on Sunday nights at 6:00 for Frontline, a worship gathering designed specifically for middle school and high school students (7th-12th grades).  Frontline is a time for our youth group to come together to worship through singing and the teaching of God's word, and discovering how it impacts our lives. 

There are many opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth in the HBC youth group throughout the entire year, such as our annual ski retreat, lock-ins, Student Life Camp, mission trips, and much more.  On Wednesday nights there are separate Bible studies for both guys and girls.

One of our on-going mission projects in the area is our sponsorship of an apartment at Mercy House.  We also volunteer at the Clothes Closet on the second Wednesday of each month.  These are great opportunities for us to serve others in our community. 

The HBC youth spent the week of July 20-27 in Fleming/Neon, Kentucky.  We lead Vacation Bible School at a housing project.  It was an amazing week, watching the youth share their faith with the children there and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.  During our stay there we held two movie nights for the community, VBS one evening, and led the worship service at Fleming Baptist Church.  We met many nice people there and made many new friends.  We are already making plans to return next summer!
