We invite you to become involved in one of the following PRAYER MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES at HBC…..
We currently have four Intercessory Prayer Groups:
- Sundays at 8:30 a.m. in Room B-4
- Sundays at 9:30 a.m. in Room B-4
- Tuesdays at 7:15 p.m. in the church parlor
- Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in members’ homes (For more info, contact the church office)
Each group warmly welcomes new participants!
HBC also has phone and e-mail Prayer Chains in place. Members on both chains are contacted when there is an emergency prayer request, and prayers are lifted as each member receives the prayer request. If you have a prayer request, please contact the church office at 540-433-2456, and your request will be passed along our Prayer Chains. You can also submit your prayer request on line by clicking here.
Prayer Request Cards are located in the pews in our sanctuary. Prayer needs and answered prayers can be written on these cards and placed in the Prayer Request Box in the foyer. These needs and answered prayers are then communicated to our Intercessory Prayer Groups, so that they can pray specifically for that need.
Each week our Prayer Sheet is updated to include requests for U.S. and world situations, church needs, and specific individuals in need of prayer. Weekly prayer emphases are also included. Copies of the Prayer Sheet are located in the church foyer and are picked up by those wishing to be in intercessory prayer for the listed concerns. If you have a prayer request that you would like to have listed on our Prayer Sheet, please contact the church office at 433-2456.
